About In Good Taste
My newsletter aims to make food lovers think - joining the dots between food, people, planet, and the way we live today. It was shortlisted for a food writing award by the Guild of Food Writers, the UK’s association of professional writers, publishers and broadcasters.
I’m a food writer, presenter and advisor two cookbooks: Miss Masala: Real Indian Cooking for Busy Living and Masala: Indian Cooking for Modern Living. I write Planet Friendlier features for Good Food Magazine, spice and flavour recipes and stories relating to food and culture for publications like Waitrose Weekend, National Geographic and Borough Market.
I developed a session on culture and diversity in food, which I’ve now delivered to individuals in several companies and organisations. I then went on the University of Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership’s Sustainable Food course and added related topics to my interests.
I’d love my writing to inspire, support positive, practical change through educating, knowledge sharing or simply calling out BS in the nicest way possible. You catch more bees with honey than vinegar, after all! You can read more about me here.
Stay up-to-date
Subscribe to never miss an update and join like-minded people to comment on topical issues. Every new edition of the newsletter will go directly to your inbox for you to enjoy at leisure. I try and post on Fridays, but there are other posts depending on news developments and other drama. This newsletter is free and there are no posts hidden behind paywalls or salesy mailshots. But I’d be grateful if you could support my work with a paid monthly or annual subscription.
