I quite enjoy the ritual of cleaning the veg. If you haven’t yet, get a good veg scrubbing brush (OXO do a good one). I try and wash my veg as soon as the bag arrives on a Friday before I put it away, then I’m much more likely to grab the veg when I need it. Love these recipe ideas for using stuff up!
I love our veg box and find making achar is a good use when we have lots of one veg (even of turnips!) I do find the cleaning of the veg a laborious task though. I find it's challenged me to think of more creative recipes but when I'm feeling lazy it can result in many mixed veg omelettes but I like eating more seasonally.
Can you specify veg you actively don’t want…? If marrows, swede or turnips arrived in my box I would start dry heaving!

I might try that next time Ceri! I bought a brush but the delivery always arrives when I’m hard at work.

Great to hear this! I think veg boxes would find more favour if they came washed and ready.
